How good is the quality?
Edwin Pireh designs are made by the finest silk mills and leather house in the world, in England and Italy. Read about Edwin Pireh’s quality here.
Why weave and print?
Both methods have its positives. The woven tie feels more luxurious in the hand with more body and wonderful English construction. Silk strands are dyed to produce that pop effect when woven together. Printed scarves are the only way to go to create a beautiful drape. Silk twill coupled with best in class Italian printing delivers a scarf that can only be described as amazing. Both methods use natural fibres that may leave slight imperfections, which is a natural process of hand-made silk ties and scarves.
How many sides are your scarves printed on?
Scarves in general are only printed on one side. Some allow the print to bleed through making the reverse side show a dull version of the front. At Edwin Pireh we only print on one side and do not bleed through. This is purposely done to show the raw element of the pure silk giving the user an appreciation of the original quality.
How do I clean my tie or scarf?
There are only three cleaning methods:
1. Dry clean
2. Dry clean and
3. Dry clean!
